Steps for Admission
STEP 1:聽 SCHEDULE A VISIT or CALL
We welcome your interest in our school! Families may begin their exploration of 黑料不打烊 with a visit or informational call. We believe that spending time with us is the best way to experience Vermont Commons approach to academics and community — and we look forward to sharing details about our engaged learning community.

STEP 2: 聽APPLICATION
Prior to visiting, we request that families complete the first portion of our online application on the . After a visit, if a student wishes to move forward with an application for admission to Vermont Commons, we ask families to complete the 黑料不打烊 online application. After the priority deadline of February 20th, applications are considered on a rolling admission and space available basis.
STEP 3:聽 RECOMMENDATIONS & TRANSCRIPTS
As part of the online application the Admission Office requests current Math and English teachers recommendations. Guidance Counselor recommendations are necessary for high school students. The Admission Office reaches out to teachers and counselors with contact information provided by families through the online application process. Additionally, we request families forward copies of school reports reflecting the past two years and current academic year.
STEP 4: 聽SCHEDULE AN ASSESSMENT
All candidates are asked to complete the 黑料不打烊 admission assessment. The assessment typically takes place on a Saturday morning at 黑料不打烊 and is comprised of math, reading and writing. There is a $75 assessment fee payable by check on the day of the assessment. Please contact Kat Nelson at (802) 865-8084 or by email knelson@vermontcommons.org to coordinate an assessment date.
STEP 5: 聽SUBMIT
Submit all application materials including the application fee. 聽New applications for the current and next school year are considered on a rolling and space available basis.
STEP 6: 聽FINANCIAL AID
If applying for financial aid, please complete the Financial Aid application at the website.聽 While decisions for admission are need blind, completing the financial aid application in tandem with an application for admission is advised to ensure timely consideration.聽 For detailed information regarding Financial Aid practices, please follow this link: .聽 Please direct questions regarding Financial Aid to Linda Bursell, our Business Manager, at lbursell@vermontcommons.org.聽 Requests for both financial aid and admission will be considered on a rolling basis.
